I finally have this work posted on my art website. I end up really liking it after having initial doubts about the coloring I used. It seems to work. The composition works well as it can stand out with or without font elements around it. The blocking is solid. The lower elements however needed more thought. Falling feathers in the back drop lends to the depth of the work and it enhances the fore ground elements and colors. Does a message come across fairly well? Is the title appropriate?
But still, color remains to be a challenge for me. I'm going to start coloring another sketch tonight and hopefully I get it done by next week.
